Description

These twins of IC410 exhibit a remarkable resemblance to familiar tadpoles and are some 10 light years long.

Imaged here with 3nm narrowband filters, the nebula is some 10,000 ~ 12,000 light years from us.

Seeing during this season is deteriorating with Ha FWHM averaging in the mid-2″. Below is a closeup of the tadpoles captured at 0.46″/pixel and presented at 0.57″/pixel.
