I received a set of Rouz Rings already installed on my ODK10 Telescope. I was absolutely floored by the quality. I was so instantly in love with them that I threw the original steel rings away. Not only was it clear that they were way higher quality than any other ring I’d used before, but they were also the best looking rings I’ve ever seen. Not to mention, they are more thermally stable. I went from a total skeptic to completely bought in the moment I had them in my hands. Now, I tell everyone about them.

The mounting ring and handle that come with the Askar FRA300 are a bit restrictive in what you can attach to them. The outside diameter of the scope is 82 mm so any rings had to be custom made. I could not find any takers till Rouz Astro started offering custom rings. The rings, riser blocks and the top 6″ Losmandy plate are out of carbon composite. The finish of all the products are of top quality and the whole rig feels very sturdy. He is very easy to deal and communicate with and is responsive to questions and requests.Nana GThe two rings fit perfectly
The carbon fiber used on the Levy gave me the idea to reach out to my friend at Rouz Astro and ask about a carbon fiber ring and dovetail replacement set. Rouz did so although telling me he was going to make the bottom dovetail stronger than usual for safety sake.
I put the set together and put it next to the original set. The new set weighs virtually nothing in comparison to the ex Russian ones. The two rings fit perfectly.
The scope now moves and mounts easily. All in all I am very pleased with the updating of this classic .Dave NovoselskyLooking forward to installing my new telescope rings!
Looking forward to installing my new telescope rings (left) from Rouz Astro along with top plate/telescope control center that allows the ASIAir to be directly bolted onto it. Nice fit and finish with double hinge and total weight is only 4.4 lbs. These are designed for my Takahashi Epsilon 180.

I had read some info in CN posts about Rouz Astro rings and I have been looking for a lighter weight option to heavier steel and aluminum rings. Reading the testimonials touting how strong and durable these rings are was what caught my interest. The weight savings of these rings for my Mewlon 210 was at least 3 lbs each so with two rings that was a lot of added dead weight. I received the rings and Rouz was very attentive and helpful…I really like the feel of the CF and how the new inserted threads are built into the CF. They are reasonably priced and still high quality. I have started to think about switching over more of my current gear over to these rings. I am a very satisfied customer.

I had spent money buying the TOA’s from Takahashi and trying to image through those straws, but he large aperture scopes just blow them away.

I just received your rings for my AT8RC! I’ve installed them and am very pleased with the fit and finish of your product. I had weighed the complete telescope with both the old and new rings and now the setup is 4.4 pounds lighter! The original rings I had on the telescope weighed 8.2 lbs. Your rings came in at 3.8 lbs, which is actually less than half of the original.

I have been using an “inline” control center platform (vixen) on the top of my CarbonStar 150, the quality of the product is A+, and it provides a plethora of mounting options for just about any accessory you can think of!
