Description
The Roaring Lion
Captured with the CDK14 in “f/4.76 Astrograph” mode, the longer nights and clear nights have been a nice change.
Seeing has been better too with some frames going below 2.0″.
At full resolution, some interesting and intricate details can be been in the brighter regains.
This image was captured through 3nm ultra-narrowband filters and is a composite of ionized Sulphur, Hydrogen, and Oxygen atoms and displayed with a modified SHO “Hubble” Palette. Hydrogen Alpha data was collected over 3 nights from the outskirts of Vancouver, Canada (Bortle 6).
